What/Who is Race Services Inc.?

We're an organization of volunteers committed to promoting the cause of road racing enthusiasts, and promoting Watkins Glen International as a leader in road racing. We make up the safety team, providing flagging and communications, grid, paddock, pit, worker support, and start/finish.

We started in 1999 as a new organization dedicated to creating a "one safety team" concept. Years of experience lead the organizers to believe that future success for race workers depended on everyone dedicated to working together to accomplish a common goal. We have designed and implemented this philosophy with all of our members, our specialties and our customer in mind. The result has been a phenomenal success. We have eliminated on track incidents and injuries to our members, decreased response time and cleanup time and increased the available on track time for our customer.

We continue to grow through specialized training, increased events and supporting events at other facilities. We operate at one of the most diversified racing facilities in the United States, supporting nearly every type of auto racing.

Our team is the best in the racing industry. In every manner of measurement, whether its safety, performance, overall services provided, dedication, training, etc., our team rises to the top.
